My name is Bill Bishop, and I currently reside in Northern California. I consider myself a multi-media 'creator', with a focus in painting.

With no formal art education, my skills are rooted in experimentation and practice. I have been involved in the music and transformational festival scene since I was a young teenager. These gatherings have taught me a lot about the power of inspiration. Live painting has provided a way for me to express my desire to communicate, to make people wonder, and to share inspiration along the way.
13 years ago, i moved across the East coast of Virginia to the West coast of California. At the time, my art was rooted in pencil sketching and drawing, and was more or less a hobby. Painting frustrated me.

With a basic understanding of color theory I began to dive further, playing with the colors and shapes, and learning to use tools.
​
For the past seven years, I have devoted my time fully to creating. Live painting has provided a way to navigate and harness my creative energy. My work has been shown in various galleries across Northern California, and frequently at Music Festivals all over the West coast.

In addition to painting; I also like to work with Digital Illustration, Sculpture, and Wood.
